History: I was writing my 21st Piano Concerto for my Mother's 70th Birthday, but she passed away before it could be completed, and so it remains unfinished. Following the death of my fiancé shortly before our wedding, I have returned to writing concert music as a comforting outlet for emotion after a 13-year hiatus. editor's note: Originally played syncopated, some of the bass notes have been elongated and re-aligned to reinforce the upper parts.
