I’ve been trying to stay consistent with my fitness, hitting the gym twice a week as I work on becoming more health-conscious. I thank God for the grace to do that. But this particular morning, the Lord had other plans. As I was meditating, I felt Him impress on me to move my gym time and prioritize worship instead. He said, “You need worship more than you need to work out.” I’ll admit, I hesitated at first. I didn’t want to lose the momentum of my routine, but I knew deep down this was a call I couldn’t ignore. Worship has always been the core of my ministry, even though I sometimes feel the pressure to sing more popular songs to help my channel grow. But that’s not the mission God has given me. My ministry is worship, and that’s where my heart is. In this session, I felt the Lord Jesus touch me powerfully. His presence was tangible, and it lifted every burden I’d been carrying—stress from work, difficult colleagues, and all the weight of daily life simply vanished in His presence. I believe that’s what He wants to do for each of us: to give us a space to lay down our worries and simply see Him.
