"Free Kashmir" Poster Spotted At Occupy Gateway Protest, BJP Slams CM Uddhav | HW News English

While the Occupy Gateway protest against the JNU attack remained mostly peaceful, a controversy erupted Monday night over the Free Kashmir poster that was raised at the protest. A woman was captured raising the poster with free Kashmir written over it. The posters have triggered outrage among BJP leaders and social media users asked how can such "separatist elements" be tolerated in the city. Not only former CM Devendra Fadnavis but BJP MP from Bengaluru south Tejashwi surya also raised questions over the poster. BJP leader Kirit Somaiyya has filed a complaint against it. The police is trying to identify the girl and possible action could be taken.
