At this year’s Sheffield Adventure Film Festival I was delighted to stumble across local sports massage therapist Amanda from Edge Sports Massage giving FREE 30min massages. Having taken full advantage of her excellent services after my 16mile jaunt in the Peaks to watch the Edale Skyline with ultra runner Jen Scotney (interview to come soon!), I wanted to help Amanda’s new business out with an appearance on Wild Ginger Films. Here she is talking about why sports massage benefits runners, as I thought stretching was basically all you had to do unless you had an injury, niggle or tight area. Who knew?!
