Out of all the isekai's out there like Mushoku Tensei and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Re:Zero is easily the best out of them all because of the sheer amount of good scenes in the series. Episode 15's "Outside of Madness" and episode 18's "Start From Zero" are full of tons of them, however there is one scene that I believe is criminally underrated in the series: the lap pillow scene from episode 8. Natsuki Subaru is my favorite character out of probably any anime because of how human he is, and he openly expresses his humanity in this episode. So join me today as I explain why the lap pillow scene is one of the best scenes in the entire series.
