Zoom Fly Flyknit After 100 Miles

With today's 10 mile run, I crossed the 100 mile threshold in the Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit. I've run with this shoe at a variety of distances from 6 to 15 miles and at a variety of paces from recovery to races. And this shoe is probably my favorite shoe I've ever run in. While it isn't the most versatile shoe, for marathon training, I like this shoe for everything from moderate paces and faster. The Flyknit version of the Zoom Fly has undergone some changes from the initial version, this time using React foam in the midsole and pairing that with a carbon fiber plate. This combination feels fantastic to me, and the React itself feels much softer than it did in other React shoes, such as the Epic React. And the React foam here does seem to hold up better in terms of aesthetic wear versus the lunarlon of the Zoom Fly SP. In terms of the flyknit, if you like flyknit in other shoes, you will likely enjoy it here. And vice versa. The flyknit here is flexible with a bit of padding around the heel collar, and makes for a snug fit. Thanks for watching.
