This unique Circa Guitar was built by master luthier, John Slobod of Portland Maine. This instrument is designed and built with the highest level of craftsmanship. Anyone familiar with John’s work knows the world class level of his work, and the difficulty of obtaining one of his creations. The tone on this one is vintage beautiful and balanced, it plays with incredible ease for finger-style and shines with a flat pick as well. Made in the style of a vintage prewar Martin 000, this guitar in particular has very unique Florentine cutaway (John's cutaways are usually Venetian), with master grade German Spruce top and stunning Royal Macassar Ebony back and sides wood. Those features and appointments that make for outstanding clarity, tone, and playability. Gold Evo frets, graphite carbon truss rod, 1 3/4” nut, 2 5/16” saddle string spacing, hand crafted Martin style Tortoise shell pickguard, and plecked by T.J. Thompson.
