Gujarati Couple Detained for Illegally Attempting US Migration via Canada with Forged Visas

A young couple from Gujarat was caught at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport with fake Canadian visas just before they were about to board a flight to Toronto on September 15. Ashishsinh Chavda, 22, and his wife Priyanka, 20, who are from the town of Kada in Visnagar, were stopped before getting on their Air Canada flight. They were found with forged visas on their passports. The airline staff discovered the fake visa stickers during a routine document check. The fake stamps were on the seventh page of their passports, with serial numbers E741959470 and E741959471. The couple was supposed to board flight number AC-43, which was scheduled to take off at 10:50 PM that night.
