I've just got back from a wonderful week on the Channel Island of Jersey. I stayed at the Merton Hotel, which is an affordable, but GREAT 3-star hotel which has 5-star facilities. This video is an inside look and review of the hotel and its facilities, including its water park which consists of an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, an AWESOME water slide - there's great POV footage of me coming down the slide so keep tuned until that point! I expected the slide to be throwaway, but it really wasn't. It was brilliant - so brilliant I was happy to do it over and over. There's also a flow rider surf machine as well as a tennis court and I show the hotel's restaurant, food and lounge area. The Merton Hotel is a great place to stay in Jersey - it's near everything in capital St. Helier without being too close. And the best thing (for us) was it's price. It's really affordable, with great prices. And Jersey is a fabulous Channel Island which actually feels more French than British due to its proximity to St. Malo in France - just 14 miles away.
