this song is about how it was for me when i was fresh out of school and decided to go my own way and start my life everything i have to this day i earned and worked for it and yes i tried to join the military as well like everyone else who i graduated with but they disqualified me do to medical problems and being on meds at the time for add and i had to be off them for a full yr. so i tried to become a Marine it's what i wanted but unfortunately fate had other plans for me and i joined the guards as a graveyard shifter cause my second choice was to be a cop and serve my community and being a guard was close to it fresh out of school
