In this video we will study Triangles and related theorems like Theorem 6.4 or SSS Theorem or SSS similarity criterion. In this chapter we shall study about those figures which have the same shape but not necessarily the same size. Two figures having the same shape and not necessarily the same size are called similar figure. According to Theorem 6.4, If in two triangles, sides of one triangle are proportional to (i.e. in the same ratio of ) the sides of the other triangle, then their corresponding angles are equal and hence the two triangles are similar. We also know about the BPT Theorem and converse of BPT (Thales theorem). In next video we will cover Ch. 6, Theorem 6.5, Ex 6.3, Ex 6.4, Ex 6.5, Ex 6.6.
