Leliana Build Guide (Dragon Age: Origins) - B-Tier Guides

My Leliana build guide is finally here! It took me a while to make this, since I don't really use archery in my playthroughs. But after a lot of research and testing, I'm confident that this is a good b-tier guide to share with you. The recommended gear list can as always be found below. Here is the link to A Kis Herceg's channel, who has many cool builds for Dragon Age games:    / @akisherceg   00:00 Intro 00:50 Starting Skills 01:59 Starting Abilities 04:09 Starting Gear 04:43 Recommended Attributes 05:26 Recommended Skills 06:18 Recommended Abilities 08:19 Specialiations 08:56 Recommended Gear 15:58 Tactics 17:09 Conclusions ==Recommended Gear for Leliana== =Weapons= The Sorrows of Arlathan – DLC item that requires an achievement in the Witch Hunt DLC. +3 damage, rapid aim, +6% ranged crit chance, +3 armor penetration. Marjolaine’s Recurve – Leliana-restricted longbow you get from her personal quest. +3 cunning, +3 damage, rapid aim. Whitewood Bow – the best early game bow as well as best shortbow. Requires only 18 dexterity, and is easily acquired during the Trial of the Crows questline in the Kadan-Fe Hideout. +3 damage, +5% ranged critical chance. Another early game option: Scout’s Bow – cheap shortbow with a small rapid aim bonus. Purchased from Varathorn in the Dalish Camp. You can also have one if your Warden is Dalish either from persuading Master ilen to give you one, or purchasing one from him during your origin. It can also be found in random elven treasure. =Chestpieces= Battledress of the Provocateur – DLC item that requires an achievement in the Leliana’s Song DLC. +4 dexterity, +5 armor, +15% chance to dodge, combat stamina regen, +50 stamina The Felon’s Coat – sold by Herren in Denerim after 3 main quests have been completed. +6 dexterity, +9 defense, +4 armor, combat stamina regen, +15 physical resistance. Shadow of the Empire – sold by Legnar in the Orzammar Commons. +2 strength, +2 dexterity, combat stamina regen. Early game option – Dalish armor set =Gloves= Repeater Gloves – these are really important due to their huge bonus to rapid aim. They are acquired from the Return to Ostagar DLC. Early game you can use Dalish Gloves or Wade’s Superior Drakeskin Gloves if you don’t feel up to going to Ostagar yet. =Boots= The Lion’s Paw – DLC item. +1 armor, +10% chance to dodge, +10 chance to avoid missile attacks Silverhammer’s Tackmasters – sold by Bodahn in the party camp. +2 dexterity. =Helmets= The Long Sight – looted from the high dragon during the urn of sacred ashes quest. +5% ranged critical chance. Armsman’s Tensioner – sold by Varathorn in the Dalish Camp after 3 main quests have been completed. Rapid aim, +6 attack. =Belts= Cinch of Skillful Maneuvering (contested item) – DLC item that requires completing an achievement in the Witch Hunt DLC. +1 all attributes, +10% spell resistance, +10% dodge chance Longbowman’s Belt – sold by Bodahn in the party camp. +2% ranged critical chance. =Amulets= (the ideal is Spellward, but it’s contested and imo better used on a tank or frontline character) Blood-Gorged Amulet – DLC item acquired in the Cadash Thaig area after finishing the dwarven quest if you have Shale. +12 constitution, -3 strength, -3 willpower. Pearl of the Annointed – DLC item. +1 all attributes. =Rings= Band of Fire – DLC item. +3 constitution, +25% fire resistance, +10% spirit resistance Harvest Festival Ring – DLC item acquired in Honnleath Village. +2 strength, +2 dexterity, +4 attack. Key to the City – acquired by doing the secret Key to the City quest in Orzammar. +2 all attributes, +4% spell resistance, +10% healing effects received [healing effects received is bugged in the vanilla game and doesn’t work, but it’s fixed by the mod Dain’s Fixes]
