America America is a Malayalam film, directed by I. V. Sasi. The film stars Mammootty, Lakshmi, Ratheesh and Balan K. Nair in the lead roles. She is in deep shock and tries to wind up his affairs one by one . Mamooty is a detective hired by the insurance company to probe his death. Lakshmi slowly realises that her husband was leading a dual life and was already married to some one else . Seema is the king pin of a drug cartel . Innocently , Ratheesh ( who has come in search of a living ) gets caught in that . He is living with Pratap who himself is a pawn in his American wife's hands . A lot of fights and confusions and misunderstandings later , Lakshmi and Mamooty are united . A lot of boat and car chases makes it interesting .
