Today I'm going to Service my Stihl MS290 & MS310. Both saws will get serviced the same. I didn't mention in the video but the upper chain guide on the MS 310 was missing. I do have some replacements ordered as well as the oil cap for the MS 290. Beside replacing some common maintenance items I'll show you some other items to look at / clean while your here. This process doesn't require any special tools and anyone with a chainsaw should be able to complete these maintenance items. This will prolong the life of your chainsaws. No matter the manufacturer these items should be done to all chainsaws.
