Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crip

The Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips (R60NHC), also known as the Rich Rollin 60's, are a large primarily African-American street gang located on the west side of South Los Angeles (formerly known as South Central, LA) California. The NHC Rollin' 60' originated as a Stanley "Tookie" Willams gang, the Westside Crips in the 1970s. Their territory stretches from Slauson Ave to Florence Ave, between Western Ave, and around Crenshaw Blvd. They also come under the umbrella of Rollin O's and the Neighborhood Crips. They are believed to be one of the most infamous and vicious black gangs in the Hyde Park/Crenshaw region of Los Angeles. Members of Rollin 60 have been known to wear Seattle Mariners baseball caps with the letter "S" standing for Sixty (60's Crip). Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crips have several cliques, such as Avenues, Front Hood, Overhills, and a few other cliques. Most of the youth members attend Crenshaw High School as well as Westchester High School. Law enforcement believes the Rollin 60's membership is between 6,000 and 8,000, making them the largest black gang in all of Los Angeles County. The Rollin 60's and the Eight Tray Gangster Crips were close allies and often fought side by side against rival gangs. However, they were enemies in their own right by the mid-1980s. This rivalry claims to be the first Crip on Crip rivalry in history. This feud spread to surrounding neighborhood gangs. Gang's began to pledge allegiance to one or the other (Rollin 60's or Eight Tray Gangster Crips). Gangs that aligned with the Rollin 60s adapted the Neighborhood Crips, aka Deuces or Deuce Gang's (2x) and gangs that aligned with the Eight Tray Gangster Crips adapted the "Gangster Crips", aka Trays or Tray Gang's (3x) . This conflict has resulted in more than 30 gang-related deaths and more than twenty non-gang-related victims. Nipsey Hussle (rapper), who debuted with "Bullet's Have No Names" (trilogy), which spawned his hit single "Hussle In The House", is affiliated with Rollin 60's. Big U (of Uneek Music), CJ Mac, Kurupt, as well as Keita Roc, who signed to Death Row Records through Suge Knight have ties to the RSC. Tiequon A. Cox, who stabbed crips co-founder "Stanly Tookie William's", was also a member of Rollin 60s (NHC). Kody "Monster" Scott, who was affiliated with the Eight Tray Gangster Crips. Mention the feud between Rollin 60s and Eight Trays in his memoir titled "Monster: Autobiography of an L.A. Gang Member".
