The bubbles seen about a minute in are emerging from the sandy bottom from between the bedrock where the active volcano spews poisonous gasses (sulphur dioxide) and heating the water and staining the sand yellow. Diving through Bubbles isn't all there is to the Champagne reef... the final shot is probably one of my favourites showing one of the most pristine soft coral reefs I have ever dived with such diversity it makes it difficult to see the divesite through the corals.
