Today I visit the Alkborough Flats nature reserve to photograph one of the U.K.s most attractive bird species. The Bearded reedling or Bearded tit. They are not shy birds. You can get close to them easily, but they are hidden in the reeds a lot and the reed beds are extensive. So it does involve long waits for this small bird to come close, often in small groups. The OM-1 camera with the 150-400mm lens is an ideal system to photograph and film this mobile species.
