During the filming of surfing at Cayton Bay, I witnessed true bravery. I spoke with the rescued man and tried to warm him up with my coat once his ordeal was over. The surfer who initially went in with his board is currently a mystery to me. I'm hoping all the pieces come together and someone recognises them. I know that I felt completely helpless, I would have been no use trying to save him in those waters....I'm so grateful it all ended well.
