These are the BEAUTIFUL, ELEGANT AND FAST Otis Series 2 Elevonic 411M Traction Elevators at The Beautiful Marriott Chateau Champlain in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This is the Hotel I got to stay at (one of them) when visiting Montreal!!!!! Anyways, as for the elevators, they have VERY NICE, Beautiful Wooden Cabs, that appear to actually be REAL WOOD, and they are FAST and RUN VERY SMOOTHLY!!!!! The light fixtures are Very Nice, and the back of the cab is mirrored. This Hotel opened originally in 1967 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, but became a Marriott in 1997. This place is known as the "Giant Cheese Grater" or "Cheese Grater Hotel" by many Canadians and Montrealers, and the elevators here were originally Otis Touch Sensitive Elevators with Autotronic Controllers, which these were Sadly modded in the Early 2000s, at least Otis did the mod, and put in the REALLY COOL AND RARE ELD INDICATOR, and they kept the Old Otis Autotronic Panel in the lobby when they modded these. i Also liked the BILINGUAL GRANDMA VOICE!!!!!! That's a nice touch!!! The cabs may or may not be original, but either way, they are GORGEOUS!!!!!!! This hotel was AWESOME, and if you ever visit Montreal I would stay here, anyways, stay tuned for my hotel tour. And these elevators were just a small part of this hotel, and in addition to being Beautiful, these were Also VERY FUN TO RIDE!!!!!!! With that said, If you thought these elevators were AWESOME, Wait till you see the Parking Garage Elevators!!!!
