The SSS-bow reduces wind pressure and saves 5% fuel consumption under average sea conditions compared to conventional hull shapes, it's the world's first container carrier to be fitted with the technology. Natori, with a loading capacity of 538 TEU, is the biggest coastal container feeder in Japan and was delivered to Japanese domestic container operator Imoto Lines in December 2015.
