Mr. Al-Amri confidently states that life should not be limited to survival, but should be dedicated to being alive. We are all the result of societal molding despite being born unique. The realization that we all turn into clones of one another to avoid standing out has pushed Mr. Hamed to make a conscious change in his life, the most important one being a social experiment and personal challenge of camping from Salalah to Muscat in 20 days, with air bicycles as their only mode of transport, accompanied by his supportive and loving wife, Mrs. Wiam. To give perspective: that’s over a whopping 1000km, fully exposed to nature, and open to the criticism of a conservative and traditional society. What were the results of his societal experiment?
