I bought this brand new in 2004. It had been less than a decade since Line6 had pioneered modelling, and the other manufacturers were starting to join in. This unit was different - as well as being built like a tank, it had a preamp valve, rendering it unique at the time. Times change, and the tech is now 15 years old. What's more, it can't be updated, so does that mean it's completely useless? I would say no. With a little ingenuity, this can still be your main source of recorded or live tone.
