My initial thoughts where - ok, so it's cheap (New at about £150) very small screen. quite light and very comfortable in the hand thanks to the curved back. So here's what goes on inside: The Xperia U has a 3.5-inch (88.9 mm) touch-screen, a 1 GHz dual core processor, having a budget sized 5 mega-pixel rear camera, with a budget low quality 0.3 mega-pixel front camera. With 512 MB of RAM, and 8/4 GB of internal storage the Xperia U boasts a more budget feel. The dimensions are: 112 mm x 54mm x 12 mm 3.5 mm headphone jack five megapixel camera speakers camera flash on button volume rocker camera shortcut. so overall a great little budget smartphone. Now, the camera on this phone is not high end, sporting a -3.5 mega pixel camera capable of shooting 720p video on quick snaps but nothing much more. The up side is that it's simple, with barely or few add one and effects it is easy to take a quick snap and leave without having to spend 3 days working out how it works and organising it all, its all there but, doesn't really deliver.
