A rule of life is based on our state in life, our duties, and our personal needs. It helps us to form good habits, avoid sin, and foster a deeper relationship with God. Father Ripperger is a Catholic priest and exorcist who has given many talks and written many books on spiritual topics. He has many YouTube videos, many on a channel called Sensus Fidelium, where he shares his insights and wisdom on various aspects of the Catholic faith. One of his talks is titled "Rule of Life", where he explains what a rule of life is and how to create one. According to Father Ripperger, a rule of life is a specific schedule that we follow every day, which includes our prayers, spiritual reading, mental prayer, etc. Next, Father Ripperger recommends that we look at our personal needs and weaknesses. For example, if we struggle with anger, we should work on patience and meekness. If we are prone to laziness, we should work on diligence and zeal. If we are attached to worldly things, we should work on detachment and poverty of spirit. These are just some suggestions for creating a rule of life. Each person's rule of life will be different according to their circumstances and needs. The important thing is to have one and follow it with love and devotion.
