10 Years Ago, Steam Into History (AKA Northern Central Railway) Was Formed in 2013, and A Replica 1860s Era Steam Locomotive "York" No.17, Was Built for the Railroad to Run on the Line, to Hanover Junction as A Start, that Once Carried Abraham Lincoln to Deliver his Gettysburg Address. . 10 Years Later, NCRR York No.17 Still Carries Passengers on the Line, to Show its History. On June 17th and 18th 2023, We Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Steam On the Northern Central Railway. Along with Traveling 0-4-0 Saddletank Jeddo Coal Co. No.85, visiting the Area, Joins the Celebration, having Two Operating Steam Locomotives in New Freedom PA. In this Two Day Action Pack Weekend, we Show you Some Steam Operation on the NCRR, With Both No.17 & Jeddo Coal 85. On June 17th, we Get 85 and 17 Pulling Excursions to Glen Rock PA and Back to New Freedom PA. On June 18th, We're Treated to A Spectacular Show with 17 and 85, Even A Doubleheader! Jeddo Coal Company No.85- A 0-4-0 Saddletank Steam Locomotive Built in 1928, By the Vulcan Iron Works in Wilkes Barre PA. Rebuilt in 2017 by The Grambling Company of Indiana. Today it Travels to Multiple Tourist Railroads in the United States. York 17- A Replica 1860s 4-4-0 Built in 2013, by the Kloke Locomotive Works, For Steam Into History, in New Freedom PA. today No.17 is one of the Youngest Steam Locomotive in the World and America.
