Despite its name, the Hooke Reverb offers up accurate tube driven reverb AND tremolo so you don't have to lug your expensive blackface amp everywhere you go. The Hooke offers three modes, featuring two time-tested verb takes and one futuristic 'verb patch. In Spring mode, the Hooke gives control over every parameter of a real spring reverb tank from transducer brightness to spring tightness, letting you zero in on your favorite spring settings, while Trem-Verb mode introduces a tube-driven tremolo and reverb sound and has been specially EQ'd by Keeley's engineering squad for a modern take on the tandem that sounds killer. The Fugue verb mode is a sound that didn't exist before the Hooke was built, activating a fully-wet "organ-verb" sound that combines upper and lower octaves with a deep spring reverb. If three modes aren't enough, opening the pedal reveals three more modes. Long Decay Trem Verb gives the reverb sound a lengthy decay for extra atmosphere. Spring Plate combines the best of both reverb types with a crossfade effect for precision dialing. Vibro-Spring mode switches the tremolo out for true pitch vibrato reminiscent of the Magnatone amps of yore.
