Talk given by Mrs. Layli Miller-Muro on January 30, 2021 In this wonderful talk, Layli Miller-Muro introduces the Baha’i Faith and then discusses how justice and unity are both necessary to build a peaceful world. Layli was trained as a lawyer and is now the CEO of the Tahirih Justice Center, a non profit organization she founded early in her career. The Center provides free legal services and engages in advocacy on behalf of immigrant women and girls fleeing human rights abuses. In her role, she has won numerous awards including one of the “Most Fearless” women in the world by Newsweek/Daily Beast. She lives in Virginia with her husband and three children.
