Overcoming Obstacles In Orange Bowl (YEAR 6 FINALE) - NCAA 14 Marquette Dynasty - Ep. 90

Helllooo everybody and come along for the ride as I birth the Marquette Golden Eagles program on NCAA 14. In this episode, our Golden Eagles finish the Year 6 season down in Miami against #9 Navy for the Orange Bowl. Marquette seeks the biggest win in program history which would also give them their first 10-win season. Jason Smith is back under center as he’s been dynamic filling in for the injured Greg Walker. The redshirt freshman sports a 5-0 record as the starter with an 8:1 TD:INT ratio. He’ll be joined on offense for the last time with seniors such as Dusty Alexander, Josh Terry, and Justin Hill, among others. Defensively, the Golden Eagles face an incredibly tough task of stopping Navy’s storied triple option attack. Junior QB Joe Clark runs the system to perfection. Not only does he excel running the ball, but he’s a decorated passer as well. This game marks the last time we’ll get to see defensive stalwarts such as Antonio Carr, Robert Williamson, Mark Henry, and Bednarik Award winner Bobby Price, among others. The Midshipmen start with a bang as they take the opening kickoff back to the house. Then, on their first play from scrimmage, they cash in on the option for a huge gain. Marquette faces a seemingly insurmountable deficit, but they stay grounded, stick to the game plan, and claw their way back in it. Tune in to see how they pull off a huge comeback in one of college football's most storied stages. In the next episode, we’ll dive into the Year 6 Offseason. After the most successful season in Marquette history, both coordinators could be on the move for head coaching gigs. As the Golden Eagles program gets stronger, the threat of losing players to transfers increases each season. They could also send their first draft pick to the NFL as QB Greg Walker and OT Justin Hill are the likely candidates.
