Fall Season Walkthrough Disneyland Park with Haunted Mansion September 2024 TONS of Construction

Stepping into Magic and right into the construction veil on the Disneyland Railroad. There's going to be a lot of construction in this particular walk in preparation of the 70th anniversary of the Disneyland Park. As we make our way for a closer look, we are greeted by the Mickey Mouse Mask flower arrangement. Overhead we take a look at the "Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy. A nod to the classical style of Disney. We spent a little time to say hello to Chip n Dale (2:05) who were adorned in their festive Halloween costumes. Silly and goofy as they are it's almost impossible not to crack a smile. Making our way to Main Street, we caught a glimpse of Pluto and Donald also in their Halloween costumes. Navigating through the Main Street USA crowd, I managed to capture the (4:00) Winking Mickey Pumpkin. Following the Red Fire Truck we come to the Partners Statue, (6:50) Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. If you peek hard enough, you can see King Arthur Carrousel. Off to our first land, Frontierland! After a quick sample of the land (we will be back), we find ourselves in the lush jungle of Adventureland. We come across the World-Famous Jungle Cruise which is, you guessed it, under construction. Taking a peek (9:40) didn't grant us any inside scoop but it was still nice to observe. If it wouldn't get me banned, I would totally hide out in the foliage in front of Indiana Jones. Looks so peaceful. Scanning the tree reminds me that it's time to make a revisit. Crossing paths with the (11:40) Boot Strappers serenading us with their melody as we glare at the Pirates of the Carribean line that is starting to swell up. Taking a walked down Royal Street in New Orleans Square turned out to be a little quiet with majority of the people there fresh off of the Pirate boat through the Carribean. I must say that a smell-o-vision is needed as we walked past the Perfume shop and Tiana's Palace. Time for a break to enjoy the Nightmare before Christmas overlay of the Haunted Mansion featuring characters from the movie such as Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, Oogie Boogie, and also Madame Leota, Hatbox Ghost, and the Gingerbread house. Taking a stroll down the (26:20) secret path led us to more... Construction! This is always a great area if you are looking for a little peace and solitude. Turning around we see that there is another construction project. This is the structure for the future (27:50) Madame Leota's gift shop. Looking over from the New Orleans Square side of Tiana's Bayou Adventure looks promising. The "mountain" looks pretty much done in my opinion. In the Critter Country side of Tiana's there is now an (30:12) awning that I assume will be for stand-by, lightning line, and possibly single rider? Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Hungry Bear Barbeque Jamboree looks ready to open hopefully soon. Can't wait! Coming into Galaxys Edge, we are greeted with an extended queue for Rise of the Resistance which was surprising this early in the morning. Frightening as he is, I kept my distance as I encountered (37:45) Boba Fett. I'd probably be as brave as the kid if I had a lightsaber. Lol! Time to get out of here before he sees me. Leaving the Star Wars immersion, I was brought back into reality. It was nice, quiet and peaceful. You could hear the birds chirping (41:42). The peace continues as Big Thunder blowing up dynamite Mountain is closed. We check out the (44:35) Coco festivities and Los Madrigal art piece. Even Halloween Tree got in the mix (46:00). Through the Royal Fantasy corridor to admiring Rapunzel's long blonde locks (47:45). The crowds are starting to grow entering the Fantasyland Hub. We see Genie (50:20) as someone is yelling, "Hey it's Aladdin!" Fun times! Pixie Hallow is unfortunately under construction so no Tinker Bell today. Nor will there be any Small World rides as that is closed for the Holiday overlay. We catch (1:10:06) Minnie Mouse having a tea party in her backyard and taking pictures. As we are making our leave, we actually see the man himself, Aladdin (1:13:40) speaking with a few of his fans. Making our last bend through Fanstasyland we noticed that the Sun is starting to shine a little. This was to our advantage as we got that last few seonds of the video to admire the Sun glistening on the beautiful Sleeping Beauty Castle. Thank you so much for watching!
