I just bought a new laptop, and time to rev up some Black MIDI. It's not like I wanted to have a gaming laptop for gigs. I wanted a laptop that is sustainable for at least four to five years, and after reviewing loads of laptops, I chose this one. Quite an hefty price, but I finally got a taste of a real laptop (The last one was a notebook.) Now I can use OBS with no overhead on performance. I think you could do ShadowPlay on this, but I don't know how to do it, so please tell me if you do! It's been a while since the last time I played a Black MIDI, school (then university) and other projects got into my way. I used the latest version OmniMIDI but with a old patch. I saw that it is faster, looking at the 2019's comparison, but that's years ago. Let me know how it is compared to today's computers.
