Cricut maker disassembly part one. The part in this step requires prying of a plastic piece. Be careful. It is held on with really strong glue. I haven't tried using heat, but I think a heat gun or blow dryer may prove to be helpful in loosening the glue. The machines work great until there is a problem after one year without a warranty. They do not offer service or parts and neither do any known third parties. However, some parts like the motors may be able to be sourced. C'mon Cricut! At least offer service. Also let us have an offline software version. More to come including the infamous dreaded sensor error. Next step involves using (guitar pic to push in about 6 squares on back side of cover to help remove. I started this channel to help others instead of withholding useful information to use for monetary gain.
