DEAD OR ALIVE "Fragile" Live The Avex Rave Internet Cybercast 17 August 2001

Dead Or Alive released their final two albums in Japan in 2000-2001. "Fragile" and "Unbreakable" were made up of brand new recordings of some of their classic hits alongside new material, aimed at the Japanese pop market and a new generation of fans. "Unbreakable" was a remix album of the Fragile tracks, done in a much more "hyper-disco" style that was popular in Japan, but never really was appreciated in the west, and certainly not by Dead Or Alive's European and American fans. The record label in Japan, Avex, gave the band the coveted headlining position for their annual "Avex Rave", a concert / party showcasing the label's latest releases. Pete's live vocals really shine on this recording, he was truly a gifted vocalist. This was captured via internet cybercast (one of the first for the label, and a relatively easy way to promote the band internationally) almost 20 years ago, so the video quality isn't all that great. But I think the audio is much better than other versions I've found online, so I felt it was worth sharing, in it's entirety.
