How I start thread: 1. Loop Start This is the best way to start thread for me. 2. Start with pin stitch I start this way when my thread can't do loop start. I put needle 2 stitches away from where I start, to make sure that have enough length not to over pull. Then do pin stitch once to secure thread. How I end thread: 1. Pin Stitch 2. Hide thread under stitches on front side I end thread this way when I can't find a space to do pin stitch. I learned this method from videos of a Russian stitcher (Юлия Неминская). It's a brilliant way to end thread. 3.
