Vida is Hero Motocorp's electric vehicle startup that has finally launched its first ever scooter - Vida V1 - in two variants - V1 Plus and V1 Pro at Rs 1.45 lacs and Rs 1.59 lacs (ex-showroom). The aforementioned prices are without any state subsidiary which may differ state to state. Vida V1 comes in two battery pack options - 3.44kWh and 3.94kWh for the Plus and Pro variants respectively. Both the versions get two removable batteries and can be charged via different options - a complimentary charger, a home charger for charging the batteries at home or any place, and DC fast charger being setup by the brand at different locations. Both the versions offer a peak power output of 8bhp and a continuous power output of around 5.2bhp. While the Pro version can do 0-40kmph in 3.2 seconds, the Plus does the same in 3.4 seconds before hitting the top-speed of 80kmph. The claimed range for the Plus and Pro are 143km and 165km respectively.
