Sleep like a trucker to big rig white noise from a truck stop. Here is my new favorite diesel sound:    • Diesel Engine Humming Sound = Industr...   On my travels to the great western states, I stopped for a relaxing nights sleep in my camper. While walking into the truck stop, I heard the calming ambience of all the trucks singing a rhythm as they purred, while parked in their spaces for the night. It then struck me that I should record this unique big rig white noise and see if I could turn it into a video! After getting out all my gear, I climbed on top of the roof of my camper. I set up my tascam audio recorder, and also my Nikon Camera. All the equipment began rolling, while I sat there and enjoyed the view from that unique perspective. I also used a Sure 57 microphone, and walked directly up to some of the trucks as they idled, picking up their unique resonance. After an amazing nights sleep in this truck stop, I combined all the different recordings into one sublime melody that emphasized the deep richness of the relaxing sounds that emanate from a truck stop at night. Multiple Go Pro's, A Nikon 7500, a trusty Tascam DR-100 Mk3 for most of the audio recordings in mp3 format, a range of microphones including a Sure 57 for that deep, low end sound. For the final production of both video and audio I use only Adobe Premiere Pro.
