To do this you will need Soldering iron and solder 3.5mm socket https://uk.farnell.com/pro-signal/psg... 3.5mm Jack https://uk.farnell.com/neutrik/nys231... butter knife Optional but makes it easier Multimeter Helping hands A lot of the mods we do here require a lot of tools and skill so I had a good think and came up with the easiest and safest way of creating a detachable cable on the DT770.
