This is what might happen... EDIT - I’m now very aware that ​⁠‪@RyanGeorge‬ did a sketch with a similar premise a couple of days before this. You don’t have to accuse me of stealing, ripping off or whatever - it is entirely possible for people to come up with the same concept as someone else at the same time. It happens. Doing topical stuff I’m surprised it actually hasn’t happened more often. I obviously hadn’t seen the earlier sketch before I made this - what would be the fun in copying someone else? As a standup I’m very aware that stealing material is a big no no, and a few times in the past I’ve binned sketches because I’ve seen something else similar. But in this case the first I heard of it was when someone accused me of stealing an idea I’d had (and indeed said on stage) weeks ago. The internet’s a big old place.
