~ hi everyone, this is my first video about music/producing, and it is my first tutorial on how to make beats. I know that it is a little different than the content I stream which is more video game related, but I am passionate about music even if i only do this for fun in my free time! so i said why not give it a try and make a tutorial and show the process of how people make beats in a DAW (digital audio workstation) that i use called fl studio! I wanted to give a broad overview of how to make beats in general and the type of beat I made was in the style of hyperpop / diary / digicore (genre)! The video pertains mostly to these genres with the scales and methods I talk about in the video. Different rules apply to other genres of music too but apply the same knowledge! I am still working on my melodies and drums overall, but I think i am at a point with making beats where I can make videos about it and share what I know from years of self-learning on the internet! so I wanted to share my knowledge of how to get started with making beats in fl studio even if im still learning myself!
