If you are apprehensive about drilling into the top of your kayak or just don't want a mount permanently affixed to your kayak then this video might give you some ideas on what you could do. Although there aren't many materials required to do this, it will take some tools. The heat gun I bought for this but I had other uses for it as you will see in another video and I wish I bought it earlier for other things I did previously. This is probably not the best way to make this, and even though I put some thought into it before doing it, I did much of this as I went, so learn from my mistakes, take what you like, and make something even better! EDIT: the eyebolt diameter needs to be slightly bigger than the lag bolt diameter. I think it should be 0.75" but I wrote 0.25" in the intro. Just make sure it fits through it, that's what matters.
