Island Pig & Fish’s $165 Menu Challenge Has BBQ, Seafood Sandwiches, and Fort Pierce's Best Burger!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus Island Pig and Fish's undefeated "Jerry Garcia" Menu Eating Challenge which features BBQ, seafood sandwiches, an award-winning double cheeseburger, a fried chicken sandwich, and lots more, hosted at Island Pig and Fish - BBQ and Fresh Seafood on South Hutchinson Island of Fort Pierce, FL which is located on the Treasure Coast of Florida!! ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I started a 2-month long tour that mainly featured food challenges around Scandinavia and Finland. Before flying to Europe, we traveled down to the Treasure Coast of Florida to each attempt four (4) delicious restaurant food challenges that were set up by our local friend Thomas Miller, aka The Treasure Coast Foodie. For competitive eating challenge #2 of four, we headed to Island Pig and Fish on South Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce so I could attempt and help kick off their new "Jerry Garcia" Menu Food Challenge. Jerry Garcia was the principal songwriter, lead guitarist, and vocalist for the rock band Grateful Dead. Not only does the owner love Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead, but also legend has it that Jerry Garcia enjoyed foods similar to what I had to eat as part of the menu platter challenge, all within the one hour time limit. The challenge features a 1/2 pound portion of smoked beef brisket, a 1/2 pound portion of burnt ends, their award-winning double cheeseburger with bacon jam, fried oysters, and four delicious sandwiches (sandos) - a "Philly Shove" Brisket Cheesesteak Sandwich, a bacon-wrapped scallop sandwich, a fried softshell crab sandwich, and a Southern Fried Chicken Sando. The challenge included your choice of one large side or two smaller side items. I ordered their sweet chili cucumber salad and some of their homemade baked beans with pork belly drippings. The beer, other drinks, and key lime pie dessert featured in this video were all optional and not part of the base challenge. I was trying to become the first person to win my $165 feast free plus a sweet hat and spot on Island Pig and Fish's new "Jerry Garcia" Challenge Wall of Fame!!
