Kecak Garuda Wisnu Kencana is one of a kind kecak dance that specifically created for GWK Cultural Park. The collosal dance performance is a collaboration of the famous kecak dance with Ogoh-ogoh; a gigantic puppet representing mythical creature of Garuda. The story of Kecak Garuda Wisnu Kencana taken from Mahabarata tale, telling the journey of the bird like creature; Garuda, seeking for Tirta Amerta (the holy elixir of divinity) to freed his mother from cruel slavery. God Wisnu (Vishnu), the one who holds Tirta Amerta was touched by Garuda’s sincerity. He agreed to help Garuda, but in return Garuda will serve Him as his trusted rides. Here you will be presented with not only the magical of kecak dance, but also the coreography, and of course the magnificent Ogoh-ogoh Garuda. This is the one and only, Kecak Garuda Wisnu Kencana
