It simulates the flow of the plastic melt into the mold cavity and provides results that will help part designers, mold designers, and injection molding manufacturers validate and optimize their products. Join us as we walk through the workflow of SOLIDWORKS Plastics discuss the results of Injection molding simulations. Key topics will cover the fill, pack, cool and warp results, including: • Fill results – Fill Time, Air Traps, Weldlines and Cooling Time and how they are affected by part design. • Pack results – Effective packing time, Volumetric shrinkage, and part mass can be predicted and optimized with process settings withing SOLIDWORKS Plastics • Cool results – Part cooling time, mold temperatures, coolant system pressures and velocities are analyzed to determines effectiveness of mold cooling channel layout and design. • Warp results – Deformation displacement, part shrinkage and creating a SOLIDWORKS part from the deformed result of the warp analysis.
