I decided to take a short trip to Valdosta,GA to go watch some trains and I gotta say, it didn’t disappoint. Right after I arrived I got to see foreign power on the NS line provided by Union Pacific. Next, CSX hit the diamond with a unit auto rack train. After some time waiting, I drove down the street to watch the CSX local switch some cars around to clear out a full yard (what the conductor told me). All of a sudden my scanner started going crazy on the NS frequency. I hopped back in the truck and found the train. He was doing some kind of switching.
