Welcome to my YouTube channel. A 2001 Ford Crown Victoria gets power window help in the video. Over the past few months, I have found that the window struggles immensely going up from the down position. Earlier, I took the time to disassemble the door and lubricated the window track and cables. The procedure did help for a short time, but now the window will barely go up independently. In turn, I decided to replace the power window motor, and the regulator sold as a complete unit. Thank you for watching and taking the time to stop by my YouTube channel. Below are timestamps to various video highlights if you want to review or jump ahead to a particular video part. 1. From 00:00 to 00:37, the video opens with the power window going down and struggling to go back up completely. 2. From 00:38 to 05:23, the door upholstery gets taken off, and all screw positions are shown along with proper removal of the door panel. 3. From 05:24 to 06:33, the speaker gets removed the easy way from the door with the least hardware removal. 4. From 06:34 to 07:23, the inside door plastic insulation is peeled off carefully to get used in reassembly. 5. From 07:24 to 11:04, the window gets separated from the regulator and is placed at the door's bottom. 6. From 11:05 to 18:00, the regulator mounting hardware is removed to free the regulator from the door shell. 7. From 18:01 to 19:00, the new window regulator gets compared with the one that came out of the car. 8. From 19:01 to 23:10, the new regulator is installed using an enormous rivet gun and quarter-inch rivets. 9. From 23:11 to 26:48, the power window motor gets plugged in, and the window is assembled back to the regulator. 10. From 26:49 to 29:27, the inner and outer window wipes get put back on the door. The interior door handle is also installed, and the debris is vacuumed out of the bottom of the door. 11. From 29:28 to 35:07, the door insulation, speaker, and door panel get installed. 12. From 35:08 to 35:36, the window is shown operating correctly, and the video ends. Here is the link for the rivet gun I am using in the video. https://www.harborfreight.com/heavy-d...
