36 Minutes in Wahpeton

I had been given the assignment to make either a portrait or a landscape film, within a 1-3 minute runtime for my video production class in college. I decided to create a film about the city of Wahpeton, where my friend Gavin had lived for a few years. We shot over an hour and a half of footage which was then edited down to thirty-six minutes. This is not the version of the film turned in for my Video Production class, as it was too long, unorthodox, crude, and uncompromising. This is why I prefer it to any other cut made afterward. Regardless of my thoughts on any other cut, I have made 180 Seconds in Wahpeton (the rough cut of the version created for class) also available on this channel and I plan to release all future cuts and re-edits of the footage as I make them.
