In this video we fish for Cob (Kabeljou) and Garrick from a small boat, casting lures into the surf at Port St Johns in the ocean near the Umzimvubu river mouth. This particular 'honey hole' is teeming with shoaling fish which we can see in the crystal clear water trying to take the lure from the hooked fish. Port St Johns is renown for large fish and this angling session is no exception. The sardines (largest shoal on earth) have moved past heading North and the fish are hungry and aggressive readily taking the lure.
