Filmed on 8/26/24 Ever since NJT made the announcement that throughout the entire week from August 26th to September 2nd all modes of transportation would be free, you know I have to take that opportunity to visit NJ again. The first stop being Ho-Ho-Kus. Absolutely fantastic morning railfanning. Unlike last tike during my trip to Ridgewood, I finally saw more classic EMDs and even Norfolk Southern local H55. Saw half of Metro-North’s roster of GP40FH-2s and their lone GP40PH-2 4906. To make this trip even more exciting is I caught 2 F40PH-3Cs and NJT GP40PH-2B 4100, the class unit and a former CNJ engine. Unfortunately while on my way to Ho-Ho-Kus I saw the CNJ heritage trailing and on my way back to Hoboken, I saw the NJ DOT heritage leading.
