Will they actually change? Is it possible to convince them to change or to be able to fix someone? Is it all worth fighting for? Most of the time, no. Most of the time when you try to fix other people and their problems and beg them to change, the problem lies within ourselves. The truth is, it is ultimately only our own decisions if we want to change or not. Someone can't be forced to change unless they genuinely want to. There are some cases where people can improve of course but it is all up to them. If you are wondering even slightly if it is worth your time to try and put your effort into changing them, it is not. You cannot miss out on the person you are truly meant to be with, perhaps unless you are refusing to leave the wrong person that you forever beg to change. If someone you care about does not change a behavior that is bothering someone they love immediately, then there is a huge problem. Most of the time these people are just lessons. So make sure not to cling onto your lessons for dear life because it will not get you far. The right person will find you, and if it is them, then they will come back a new person after extensive healing. Don't wait on people to come back and put your life on pause.
