AVOID this campsite or you might DAMAGE your caravan!! - Sandford Parkdean

We spent 3 nights at the end of July 2024 at Parkdean Sandford in Dorset, staying on the Star - Meadows pitch, this is a fully service pitch. We paid £260 for the 3 nights which is expensive but we do appreciate it is summer holidays. We was very unhappy with our pitch, it seemed to be raised up on a platform. That made getting the caravan on the pitch very hard with out scraping the bottom of your caravan or motorhome. Not all pitch's were like this, but we can only go by our experience at the time. We witnessed other people having issues getting on and off pitch's too and there was no room to park your car. The rest of the site wasn't to bad, toilets where old and in desperate need of a refit. Areas like elson point, washing up area and toilets could of been a lot cleaner.
