Turning Pro in China | British Female Boxer Ellie Bouttell Chases Pro Boxing Dream

This episode Boxer Ellie shares her boxing journey on how she began boxing and how she turned pro in China and signed with the acclaimed M23 Boxing Team in China. Ellie was born in the UK but her Father was relocated to Beijing for work so she had have spent a lot of time in China since she was a kid. She spent two years during high school studying in Beijing, and learning Mandarin and gradually fell in love with the language and culture. She went to study at Cambridge University majoring in Chinese studies later relocated to work in Hangzhou after graduation. It was there she continued her boxing journey and competed in white-collar boxing matches in Shanghai. Realizing her passion for boxing, She returned to the UK and participated in amateur boxing and national tournament winning second place. After twenty or so amateur fights, Ellie decided to go pro and signed with M23 Boxing Team in China embarking on her pro boxing career in China. She currently has a pro boxing record of (2-0-1)
